The Software Maintenance Agreement is a part of the software and authorises a free update to the latest version during runtime. The one-year validity of the SMA is automatically extended by one year unless it is cancelled.

The update contracts within the old Maintenance Contracts are replaced immediately by this Software Maintenance Agreement and are thus cancelled. Maintenance Contracts that are already in place are still valid of course and can also be expanded and extended as before.
 

I want to expand my video system.

In this case, you can significantly reduce the costs of the expansions with an active SMA. If, for example, you want to expand from ProBox to Enterprise, you are credited for the full cost of the initial installation if you have an active SMA.

 
How can I buy an SMA?

You can buy the SMA together with the software, which enables you to update to the latest software right from the start. You can also buy the SMA after purchasing the software, but then it is more expensive.
 

How do I get updates during runtime?
You can always get to the latest updates through a protected area of our website.

 
How are the costs calculated?

The cost calculation is based on all the software modules that are used. If the SMA is bought together with the software, then the first year costs are approximately 19% of the list price of all the software modules used. The annual costs are then reduced from one year to the next.
